Southwark Council is launching its Positive Futures Fund for 2019 to 2022. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to make a positive impact and help reduce knife crime.
The aim of the fund is to encourage and support innovative projects that inspire young people and divert them away from crime.
All applications to the fund should be co-designed with young people and successful projects will:
- Involve and engage young people
- Prevent young people getting into trouble
- Improve young people’s health and wellbeing
- Be innovative
- Have a measurable impact
The second phase has three stages to the application process:
- Expression of interest (EOI)
- Dragon’s Den-style presentation
- Full application form
Applications are now open for the second phase of the funding project with the submission deadline on 7 August 2019.
