As part of our Council Plan 2018-22, Southwark council is committed to making sure that 500 young people from low income backgrounds get paid internships with London’s employers. This academic year 19/20 the EBA is working with two local schools to support them in getting 30 pupils from their Sixth Form in getting ready to successfully complete paid internships with employers. We are looking for employers who are willing to support young people via structured workshops and coaching in getting them ready for internships as well as employers to offer paid internships.
