Working in collaboration with one of the city’s international law firms Gowling WLG the EBA is helping young people develop key soft-skills desired by all employers. Through a year-long programme a group of pupils from Compass School will learn how a professional firm works, what kind of roles it offers and what a recruiting process looks like.

The programme has started this month and the pupils have already met the firm’s volunteers. They received a tour of the offices and had a chance to ask anything they were interested to know. (Who knew there were so many pathways to law!)

Encouraged to set goals for the year ahead, the pupils started the programme by reflecting on their work experience and skills they would like to improve. Offering their guidance, the volunteers inspired a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

All children left with new goals on their list and a Christmas homework. We can’t wait to pick up on it and continue the transformation in January.

If you would like to take part in a similar programme and help young people expand their horizons and develop employability skills, please email us or call on  020 7525 2895 .
