We are excited to announce another round of the Young Enterprise project taking place at the Christmas and Easter time each year.
This time we have teams of young people from three Southwark secondary schools, competing for the chance of selling their products at Borough Market on Wednesday 6th December. All teams have to participate in workshops on Business and Financial Planning, Product Design and Sustainability, and Marketing. Adopting this knowledge, students then set up a fictional company and design a sustainable product. Presenting their ideas and products to a panel of employers, three teams win the opportunity to sell to the public and use the earning to support their chosen charity.
We are always looking for more schools to get involved as well as employers who would like to help us deliver the workshops and select the winners.
If you would like to participate, please contact us at eba@southwark.gov.uk or call 020 7525 2895.
